Let’s Talk: Message Discussion Questions

We have created a few questions designed to help you dive deeper into the content of the message. Whether on your own, with your family, or with a group of friends, our hope is that you use them to continue processing what God is speaking to you throughout the week.

July 5—”A firm faith

1. What may you be reaching for that looks good but makes things ultimately worse in your life?

2. Are you at church to be served, or to follow Jesus with these people?

3. What would it look like for you to walk with Jesus in the next decision in front of you?

June 28—”The Dilution of the Gospel

1. Where has the Gospel started to get diluted in your life?

2. Why did Paul emphasize the need to be reconciled with God?

3. What have you been holding onto in life versus adding it to Christ?

June 21—”Not so tiny jesus”

1. Do you tend to shrink Jesus in your life or is he your Savior?

2. In what areas of your life does Jesus have full authority?

3. What is your next step in building that friendship and pointing someone to Jesus this week?

June 14—”a renewed way of life”

1. Why did Paul pray for believers to not just know God’s will but to be filled with it?

2. How often are you turning to God’s word and to the Holy Spirit to show you how to live out God’s will?

3. Do you have a steady undercurrent of gratitude for all you are and all you have to look forward to because of what God has done for you?

June 7—”the power of the gospel”

1. How would you describe the gospel to someone else?

2. Why does a life of fulfillment only come from Jesus and nothing else?

3. How will you show up this summer and bring the gospel to someone else?
