North Parkersburg Baptist Church is a growing church on the West Virginia/Ohio border. We have a dedicated staff that seeks to honor the purpose of the church.

We encourage you to check out who we are and what we believe. One easy way is to attend a Sunday Service, Wednesday Evening Service or a North University Class. We would love for you to plan a visit and see just what the North family is all about.

Learning Together...

Sunday Message Series

Within Christian culture, some common mis-interpretations of Scripture are embraced. The series “Well, Not Exactly” will seek to expose and correct some of them. It will help us live by the actual teachings of the Word of God and along the way learn some simple basic Biblical interpretation skills. Join us at 9:30 or 11:00am August 21-September 25 for this new series.

Upward Registration Information

Mark you calendars! Registration for the 2017 Upward season will begin September 5. Upward Basketball and Cheerleading is part of the primary and tween ministries specifically designed to promote character and self-esteem in every student. Upward's mission is to introduce children to Jesus Christ by creating opportunities to serve through sports.

Mark Your Calendars

As summer comes to a close, we are excited about resuming old ministries and launching a few new ones! Make plans to join us this Fall for one or more of the many opportunities available during the week. Our hope is that you will find a ministry area that helps you grow in your walk with the Lord. Fall programming begins September 6.

Doing life together...

North is an exciting place to be for a lot of reasons, but one of the biggest ones is the wide variety of ministries and opportunities to grow together. We realize that we need each other, so we like to think of ourselves as family! Building relationships and learning together is important to us.  We believe that together we can make a difference in our community.

No matter where you are in your personal walk, we know Jesus wants to meet you there.

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
