Service times 9:30 & 11:00  | 3109 Emerson Avenue, Parkersburg, WV

North Parkersburg Baptist Church is a growing church on the West Virginia/Ohio border. Whatever your age, life story or political view, you are welcome at North! We realize that we need each other, so we like to think of ourselves as family. Building relationships and learning the Bible together is important to us.  We believe that together we can make a difference in our community.

No matter where you are in your personal walk, we know Jesus wants to meet you there. We would love for you to PLAN A VISIT and see just what the North family is all about.

Upcoming opportunities to grow...

Sunday Message Series

Jesus Christ lived life as it was meant to be lived, and He invites us to do the same. Philippians 2:5 says, “Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus.”  During this new series leading up to Easter, we will look at the character of Christ and how to conform our lives to be more like Him. Join us for "Live Like Jesus" February 26-April 9 at 9:30 or 11:00am.

We invite you to check out one of many Connect Groups designed to help you grow deeper in your faith and begin connecting with other believers in community and fellowship. Connect Groups will strengthen your Christian journey through community, prayer and the study of God's Word. A complete listing of groups can be found on the Adult Ministry page.

Wednesday Evening Study

Wednesday, February 22nd at 6pm in the Chapel, we will begin J.D. Greear ’s study The Book of Ephesians, a nine-week study walking us through the text verse-by-verse and challenging us to live out the gospel in our daily encounters. We hope you’ll join us for this mid-week opportunity to grow in your faith and fellowship with other believers.

Doing life together...

North is an exciting place to be for a lot of reasons, but one of the biggest ones is the wide variety of ministries and opportunities to grow together. With intensive programming for kids and numerous mid-week classes, there's something for everyone. Find out more under the Ministries tab.

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
