North Parkersburg Baptist Church is a growing church on the West Virginia/Ohio border. We have a dedicated staff that seeks to honor the purpose of the church.

We encourage you to check out who we are and what we believe. One easy way is to attend a Sunday Service, Wednesday Evening Service or a North University Class. We would love for you to plan a visit and see just what the North family is all about.

Learning Together...

Sunday Message Series

Jesus defined true greatness as becoming a servant (Matthew 23:11.) Join us Sunday mornings July 17-August 14 at 9:30 or 11:00 for the new series  “Destined for Greatness” where we will explore the mighty men of 2 Samuel and draw lessons from their example to inspire us to greatness and a life of service that honors God.

Groundbreaking July 31

Please join us for the groundbreaking of the gym renovation Sunday, July 31. Between Upward, i12 programming, North Christian School, North Sports Ministries, and special events such as the North Pole and VBS, the gym has thousands of visitors every year. Our gym is not just a gym; it is used as a doorway to Jesus, to hope for kids and their families.

The Global Leadership Summit

North is excited to announce that we will be a Premier Host Site for this exciting event. The Summit is a world-class experience for leaders who want to get better. Everybody has influence and the responsibility to lead well. When cultivated in a culture of Christ-centered leadership, your influence can change lives and the organizations in which you lead.

Doing life together...

North is an exciting place to be for a lot of reasons, but one of the biggest ones is the wide variety of ministries and opportunities to grow together. We realize that we need each other, so we like to think of ourselves as family! Building relationships and learning together is important to us.  We believe that together we can make a difference in our community.

No matter where you are in your personal walk, we know Jesus wants to meet you there.

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
